I’m not sure what to blog about today. Three days in I already hit a wall.

They can’t all be winners.

But in an effort to stick to my goal of blogging every day for a year straight, I thought I’d just cover some of my my.

Right now I’ve got a all-ages comic up on Kickstarter, The Amazing Redbee. It’s under my pseudonym of ronkopop. I initially chose a pseudonym to help with branding, but it’s a lot of work to concurrently advertise two brands. So after the Kickstarter is over, I’ll probably revert it back to this name. My real name. That’s fine.

There are three weeks left on the Kickstarter, and right now it sits at about a 1/3 of the way to reaching it funding goal. We’ll see.

I’m working on a number of short stories. These are going to be my takes on pulp-era heroes like The Shadow and Zorro.

I’ve got my own heroes and backstories but I really want them to come out quickly, and I intentionally want them short. So many of them will be either short stories or novella length.

Finally I’m working on my next book, which I don’t have a title for at the moment. But I’ll leave you with the quick idea I had for it and I posted it over on Twitter.

What if Superman was a mantle passed down from father to son and the latest heir was born without powers?

What if that son then turned to his father’s greatest enemy to help him finish an Iron Man-like suit so he could follow in his father’s footsteps?

That’s my next book.

That’s it for today. See you tomorrow.
