Well, I made it to four days and then I didn’t get to a blog.

I still work a day job and on the days I should’ve updated for the fifth and sixth days of trying to write a blog entry every day for a year, I just spaced it. The last couple of days I’ve been doing a lot of research. Too much. There comes a time when you just have to write. I’ve suffered from this problem before.

In the past, before I initially published any books I had written, I got so caught up in researching how to publish, the best platforms to be on, if I should use KDP, and so much other stuff. I listened to podcasts and did deep dives through Facebook groups, just trying to find the golden answer. The one thing that would tell me exactly what to do and how to do it so I’ll be successful.

The truth is no one can tell you that because no one knows.

I initially published my pen name books because there were my very first books. I published them so I could figure out what I was doing and know how to maneuver things for when I published my “real” books. The books I really wanted to get to, which were my superhero books. Do you know which series sold more? My pen name books.

By a wide margin.

You have to just pull the trigger. You have to jump. If you stay standing on the edge of the cliff looking down at the water all day, you’ll never do anything. You’ll just be standing up there like a dummy thinking “what if”.
